At Bee Friendly, we believe that protecting bees means protecting life.
That is why part of our work is rescuing bee colonies that have settled in places where they may be at risk, or where they may become dangerous for people. Instead of harming them, we help relocate them safely.

We rescue, care and relocate
When someone calls us, we evaluate the situation and, whenever possible, help remove the colony without harming the bees.
Our goal is simple: protect the bees, protect the people and give the colony a new place where it can continue to live.
Every rescue is different, but every rescue begins with the same intention: care.
We also protect ancestral Melipona bees
In our park, we care for Melipona stingless bees, native bees deeply connected to Mayan culture and essential for pollination and biodiversity.
Through our experiences, we invite visitors to get close to them, learn from them and understand why these small bees are so important for nature.

Educational visits for schools, students and groups
At Bee Friendly, we also open our park to schools, student groups and people from around the world who want to learn about bees in a real and close way.
During these visits, we introduce students to the world of ancestral Melipona stingless bees, pollination, local plants and the importance of caring for the small beings that sustain life.
We believe that when children and young people meet the bees with curiosity instead of fear, something important begins to change.
